About Me

Hey guys, I'm Jessica Reyes.  I am a first year pre-bio major, hoping to fulfill a career in the medical field, highly interested in becoming an Anesthesiologist. I have two older brothers and a younger sister, all of which are my best friends. I have 4 dogs, 2 rabbits, and a cat. In my free time I like to spend my time adventuring, whether it's trying a new food place, going on a hike, or finding new spots to watch the sunset. I also love food and am always down to try new things. I am from a small rural town called Linden, California. Coming to UC Santa Barbara, a huge university is a quite drastic change coming from a high school consisting of around only 700 students. Although it is very different, I am loving the change and being in southern California. In high school i was very involved and participated in many clubs. One of my favorite things about high school was planning and MCing  our rallies.  I love to meet new people and have already met so many amazing people in the last few months. Some more hobbies of mine include reading, and coloring, but nothing beats my love for listening to music. My music taste varies greatly, especially as my mood changes. Some of my favorite things are rings, candles, and socks. I'm proud to be a gaucho and I can't wait to continue writing each page in the next chapter of my life here.
